Paddle Around the Bay: 2008

This endeavor all started with the personal goal of Bill "Heywood" Howard to complete a long distance paddling trip around Tampa Bay. It has since grown into a larger objective – to use the trip as a platform to promote and gather donations for the American Heart Association.

The Challenge

To complete a kayak fishing trip around Tampa Bay – a trek that will cover over 100 miles and take nearly 20 days to finish. By documenting this unique event, Bill hopes to create interest and support for a cause that hits close to home – both his parents suffered from congestive heart failure, and now his sister is battling the disease.
